Data Deletion Instructions
How merchants and authorized users can request deletion of personal data and disconnect integrations from EcomSolveBD.
Overview
EcomSolveBD respects your right to delete data. Deletion scope depends on whether you are closing a merchant account, removing an integration, or requesting deletion of specific personal information.
Delete data in your dashboard
- Disconnect integrations: Integrations → select platform → Disconnect. This revokes our OAuth tokens and stops new syncs.
- Remove tracking: uninstall or disable the EcomSolveBD tracker from your WooCommerce/Shopify store.
- Cancel subscription: Billing → Cancel plan (see Refund Policy for billing period access).
Revoke OAuth at the platform
Google: Google Account → Security → Third-party access → remove EcomSolveBD.
Meta: Business Settings → Integrations → remove the app.
TikTok: TikTok for Business → Authorized apps → revoke EcomSolveBD.
Request full account deletion
Email privacy@ecomsolvebd.com from your registered account email with subject "Account deletion request." Include your merchant/business name. We will verify ownership and delete or anonymize account data within 30 days unless retention is required by law (e.g., billing records).
End-customer data
If a shopper requests deletion of their data, you (the merchant) must handle the request as data controller. We will assist by deleting or anonymizing data in our systems tied to that visitor when you submit a verified request to privacy@ecomsolvebd.com with sufficient identifiers.
Backups
Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before automatic purge.
Frequently asked questions
- How long does deletion take?
- Most dashboard disconnections are immediate. Full account deletion is typically completed within 30 days after verification.
- Does deletion remove data already sent to Meta/Google/TikTok?
- No. You must also use each ad platform's tools to manage or delete data they store. We stop sending new data once integrations are disconnected.
